Managing Partner / Geologist

Ken Bowdon

Ken is a seasoned geologist with nearly 50 years of experience in oil and gas exploration. He launched his career at Core Labs 1976 to 1979 before joining Sun Oil as an exploration geologist, where he made significant discoveries while drilling Miocene, Frio, and Vicksburg wells along the Texas Gulf Coast. Notably, in 1986, he recommended the first exploratory horizontal well in the U.S. near the Pearsall Field in South Texas. After founding Horizontal Solutions International in 1996, shifted focus to exploring new shale plays, successfully drilling the first Eagle Ford well in Dewitt County after leasing over 100,000 acres.

COO / Geologist

Dave Rounds

David is the driving force behind the daily operations of all Oil and Gas activities at Pangea’s Edge. With over thirteen years of experience in the industry, he expertly manages project evaluation, leasing, drilling, and the completion of wells, as well as the daily operations of producing wells. In addition, David oversees all regulatory compliance and project geoscience work, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology, which further enhances his expertise in the field.

Tony Roberts

Anthony primarily oversees the management of Pangea’s Edge investment portfolios, but also contributes to the Oil & Gas sector of the business, focusing on strategy, structuring, transactions, and legal matters. He has been active in the investment industry since 2006 and has been with Pangea’s Edge since 2012. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA Charterholder.

Bruce Berlin

Bruce brings over 40 years of invaluable experience as an Independent Oil and Gas Landman and Lease Broker, operating across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He has expertly managed leasing crews of up to 25 brokers, secured oil and gas leases, and ensured well-spud readiness by facilitating access to drill sites and midstream infrastructure. With more than 25 years as a transaction specialist, Berlin has focused on implementing exploration agreements, acquisition and divestiture agreements, JOA’s, and farmouts. Since 2016, he has been a vital part of the Pangea’s Edge Global Energy team, contributing to their success in the industry.
